I am a high school student who attends a predominately black school in Zion, and unfortunately I have to endure the ongoing headache of listening to, observing, and being in the presence of these “ghetto kids” (and some teachers)!” Without patience and understanding, I can completely understand the struggle of dealing with these “underprivilidged” kids. Yet these kids are certainly not “underprivilidged!” — They attend the same school as I & the opportunity to obtain a great education and nourish their skills are certainly not deprived of them. We have exceptionally replete libraries and materials within our community; these people are FULLY capable of performing to the extent of scholar students (believe it or not). Some people may say that the media is to blame for their awfully corrupt behavior and manners via music and cultural practices [though music and PEER PRESSURE does encourage much of their lifestyle]. However it is bluntly obvious that these people have absolutely nothing to blame but themselves; not ther parents, not their peers, not their enviornment, nothing, but themselves. What it is that we believe determines our actions.

Regardless of our personal beliefs, we all have one Father and are all of one foundation, and will all be held accountable for the same corruption in each of our hearts, if we continue in denial and pride. I am not here to preach, but it is vitally important that we consider the needs and guidance crying out from this epidemic. I am growing so frustrated with this negative cultural acceptance that I sincerly want to become an activist by God’s grace against this hip-hop movement and negate it once and for all. We all have the same problem and pointing fingers at one another is not going to repair it. There is a reason why we take pleasure in elaborating on other people’s flaws.
The true problem lies within our hearts.

White people post blogs like this because they are too scared to say it to black people so they get all their racist aggressions out in blogs, you white people are pathetic. Say all this to a black person and you will get your ass beat. Racist idiots.

Here is the thing Isis, you are basically telling us that white people are to afraid to say all this shit to a black persons face but you see here is were you are really wrong. Some people tend to keep this to themselves and talk about it in blogs and such because they know very well if they go running around saying this kinda stuff to a black person that they may actually get themselves hurt because it’s like the saying ”Some opinions are better kept then said” and some opinions tend to offend people. Especially since we’re talking about the topic ”Ghetto Kids” and I know for a fact usually when someone says the word Ghetto they tend to have a picture of a Black person in mind [Don't lie please because you know it's true]. In that’s the idea your getting. Your basically thinking that we’re calling Black’s out by using the term ”Ghetto”. You sir are Racist yourself for thinking such. I know that Black’s aren’t the only once who are Ghetto. I see a lot of White, Mexicans, Blacks, and other races at my school who are Ghetto as well. I also know for a fact that White people and other races as well have the GUTS to say all this to a Black persons face because some people in life really don’t give a bull shit what you think and just speak there mind as they wish without taking a second thought on what they are about to do or say.
