It can really be frustrating when we have a hard time seeing. It's really annoying. I mean, we rely on our sense of vision a lot and if we work too hard our eyes are strained. Thankfully, nowadays, we have better ways to treat eye damage.

My 13 year old daughter is having the same issues. Pupils are dilated and vision is blurred. It happens often lately regardless to her physical exertion levels. Going to dr again tomorrow

Physical symptoms of panic attack may include some or all of the following sensations:

    * Racing or pounding heart; palpitations
    * Difficulty breathing or tightness in the chest
    * Shallow, rapid breathing
    * A choking feeling
    * Severe trembling or shaking
    * A rapid pulse rate
    * Sweating
    * A brief body temperature rise
    * Chest pain
    * Dizziness or light-headedness
    * Nausea
    * Fear of losing control
    * Tingling or numbness in the extremities
    * A feeling of not being physically anchored.

Panic attacks may leave the person feeling utterly exhausted afterward. This may be caused by the flood of adrenaline and other stress hormones released when the panic attack starts. These "fight or flight" hormones cause an enormous output of the body's energy resources. When the attack is over, exhaustion ensues as the body tries to recover.

Many people who experience symptoms of panic attack initially think they are having a heart attack. They may run to an emergency room or call an ambulance, only to be told no physical ailments have caused the intense feelings, sensations and other symptoms. Over time, the sufferer may feel as if he or she is losing his or her mind.

i'm 24 and i have anxiety disorder and have panic attacks regularly and on meds. lately, every week or so my eyes will dilate while eating dinner when i'm very hungry. so it might be a blood-sugar problem. or it could be a problem with my seratonin levels. either way i get very dizzy, can't focus my eyes, and can barely hold a conversation. i'm too concerned with not having a panic attack and with what people/family will think if i have one. it's hard to explain to others who don't understand...which is just about everyone. i feel like i'm insane. this has been occurring more frequently since about may but has happened before. when this happens i just want to leave immediately and lay down and i usually fall asleep fast. i'm going to ask my doctor about this on the 3rd because it's starting to become a problem and i'm getting worried that it could be serious. whatever it is, it's not normal.
Hi - Yes my daughter who is 20 has very dilated pupils which can 'sometimes' cause a problem with blurry eyesight. She recently had her eyes tested and was told it was to do with the 'shape' of her eyeball? it has affected her in so much as feeling dizzy sometimes and not wishing to drive at night. We've not got to the bottom of it all yet, she's in her last year at uni so very stressed! and didn't know if this had anything to do with it? - she feels aloof too at these times - and has had panic attacks also. Wishing you well & good luck! x
