I also saw your Hilton &quot;hack&quot; which further interested me in seeing what else you wrote about. 

I can absolutely relate to you as I do not know my father on the level you are talking about, as he was struck with similar unfortunate circumstances, stricken by the horrors of war, communist re-education camps, coercively having to abandon his very own country and eat entirely new foods and learn a new tongue and with it survive in an absolutely unfamiliar land.  I grew up in a rough part of Chicago and was very fortunate to have parents that never gave up.  Thanks for sharing this, it feels good to know there are people I can relate to in this world.  Congrats on your wedding.</description>
