So apparently one of the dudes that co-authored the No Child Left Behind Act is speaking out against it. (Rep. George Miller). This is no surprise to me since my girlfriend has been telling me about the negative effects of this act for a long time now. She said it forces teacher to follow strict guidelines that are not consistent with the student’s needs. It also limit the teacher’s ability to teach what they want to teach and what could be more helpful to their students.
This latest failure adds another scar to the Bush administration and their systematic degradation of American society. Only one year left.
