I am afriad of blogging

Does anyone ever feel that what they write in their blog is too controversial and might get them in trouble?

I do… That’s why I don’t write in my blog that much anymore.

Almost every time I sit down to write something, I end up deleting it because I get scared that what I just wrote might cause undue retaliation.

On a slightly related note, I have been contacted twice by reporters from popular news outlets regarding my blog postings. I guess this means some of the things I write do get good traffic?

In fact, my post about how much I hated “sex in the city” got a ton of traffic leading up to the movie release. Until Google bumped me off the top… why???

Anyways, here are things that I like to write about, but don’t because I am scared:

1) The Bush Administration
2) The Chinese government
3) The Vietnamese government and just Vietnam in general
4) Anything against popular social networking sites such as Digg.

To be honest though, sometimes I don’t write because after reading what I write, I realize how uninformed and stupid I sound. This is the greatest gift blogging has given me. It is like a self-analysis session that helps me rationalize my thoughts and actions. Perhaps if everyone blogged, the world would be a better place??

Honestly, if people sat down and wrote out the reasons why they act the way they do, maybe they’ll realize how unrational and retarded they are…
