It makes me really angry when I hear people say that they don’t want universal healthcare because they don’t trust the government to do a good job managing their health.
If you think for-profit companies can do a better job, I can make you a long list of companies I have to deal with every day that I absolutely hate. Not just dislike — HATE: AT&T, Comcast, Southwest, and Best Buy just to name a few. The government does not have a monopoly on being terrible, so stop pretending like everything will be better without them.
