Being the overly testosterone driven male that I am, I found myself reading this yahoo news article on a monday morning:
More women needing cash go from jobless to topless
It’s a pretty typical article with exactly what I expect would happen in an economic slow down… Then I hit this part:
“Stone, who has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, took up dancing four years ago to help pay her student loans. She plans to go to graduate school this year to pursue a master’s in education.”
I am pretty sure that there is some sort of bias working in my psyche, but it seems like I hear this plan more often than I care to. Now, I don’t want to judge anyone because I have never walked a day in their shoes, but this strikes me as a very awkward career choice.
